The National Innovation Visa (formerly Global Talent Visa) is a permanent, invitation-only visa for highly talented individuals with an internationally recognised record of exceptional achievement. Applicants must demonstrate prominence in one of the target sectors (including AgTech, FinTech, MedTech, Cyber Security, Quantum, Advanced Digital, Data Science, and ICT). It replaced the Business Innovation and Investment visa streams in 2024 as the primary talent and innovation pathway. Requires an EOI and invitation from the Department before applying.
