The Core Skills stream is the main pathway for employer-sponsored skilled migration, covering occupations with salaries between AUD 73,150 and AUD 135,000. It provides a direct pathway to permanent residency through the Employer Nomination Scheme (subclass 186) after two years. The visa is valid for up to four years.
