Canada does not currently have a dedicated digital nomad visa. However, foreign nationals can enter Canada as visitors (using a Temporary Resident Visa or Electronic Travel Authorization depending on nationality) and work remotely for an employer based outside of Canada for up to 6 months. This is not a formal work permit — the individual is considered a visitor. They cannot work for a Canadian employer or provide services to Canadian clients without a work permit.
