Description

Switzerland allows non-EU/EFTA nationals who are at least 55 years old, no longer gainfully employed, and financially self-sufficient to obtain a residence permit. Applicants must demonstrate close personal, cultural, or social ties to Switzerland. They must spend at least 183 days per year in Switzerland and not rely on Swiss public funds. The permit is a B permit renewed annually.
