The Intra-Company Transfer (ICT) permit allows non-EU nationals employed by a multinational group to be seconded to the Spanish entity of the same group. Three categories are covered: senior managers (direccion), specialists (especialistas), and trainees (trabajadores en practicas). The employee must have been with the sending company for at least 3 months before the transfer. No labor market test applies. The permit is processed by UGECE alongside the HQP permit. Holders of the EU ICT permit from another EU member state may apply for a Mobile ICT permit to work in Spain after 90 days.
