The Long-Term Visit Pass (LTVP) is issued by ICA to foreign family members of Singapore Citizens (SC), Permanent Residents (PR), or eligible work pass holders (EP, S Pass, EntrePass). It allows extended stays in Singapore beyond the short-term visit pass limit. The LTVP+ variant (3-year validity with healthcare and employment benefits) is available to foreign spouses and children of SCs or PRs. Parents of SCs or PRs may apply for a 5-year LTVP under a separate scheme. This is the closest option Singapore offers to a retirement visa for foreign nationals. There is no dedicated retirement visa programme in Singapore.
